About Us
| |
The Kansas City Society for Paranormal Research was formed in June of 2006. We have conducted many investigations since then, ranging from haunted hotels to an old insane asylum. We have done many historic locatons in the greater Kansas City area, and several out of state investigations.

History of the Group
| |
Lee and Christine Rogers formally organized the group in June of 2006. They were the only members at the time, but were soon joined by Judy Rogers and Mary Smith. Our very first official investigation was of a historic home in Indianapolis, Indiana, who has requested that their information be kept confidential. The highlight of 2006 was being the first group to investigate the Glore Psychiatric Museum in St. Joseph, Missouri. In 2007 we added two members, Angelia Mauldin and Tim Holmes, our Tech Manager. Our favorite investigation in 2007 was the infamous Sallie House in Atchison, Kansas. In 2008, so far we have done the Atchison Theatre and the Harris-Kearney House in Kansas City. We have several investigations coming up soon, and we will keep you updated as more information becomes available.

Meet the Team
| |
There are currently six members in the KCSPARE team. Each brings their own unique perspective and strength to the team.
Lee Rogers
Lee is the President, Co-Founder, and Lead Investigator of the KCSPARE team. He grew up listening to the stories of the haunted house that his mother lived in, and has been a long-time believer in the paranormal. He and his wife Christine have travelled to such haunted locations as the Catacombs of Edinburgh, Scotland, and the Tower of London.
Christine Rogers
Christine is the Vice President, Co-Founder, and Lead Investigator. She is a firm believer in the paranormal, but approaches each case wtih a skeptic's eye. She and her husband Lee live in a haunted home of their own.
Judy Rogers
Judy grew up in a house filled with spirits, and has been interested in trying to contact those that have passed on ever since. She is one of the founding members of KCSPARE.
Mary Smith
Mary has a skeptic's point of view, often finding a logical reason behind the mystery. As a child, her grandparents' home had an attic every kid would love. It had a comfy rocking chair and window, quite the opposite reputation an old attic has.
Tim Holmes
Tim is the groups Tech Manager and his technical capabilities have greatly enhanced our research. He has always believed in the paranormal, but is still skeptical about most claims. The more he sees and hears the evidence from our investigations, the more he believes. He has been a member since 2007.
Angelia Mauldin
Angelia is our youngest member and brings a strong emotional outlook to our team. She has been a member since 2007.
