Initial Walk Thru
We conducted the walk thru at 8:00 p.m. There were no unusual readings on the EMF, except in a downstairs closet, but upon investigation we discovered a fuse box there. The average temperature was 61 degrees.

Investigation
Lee, Christine, and Judy held a vigil in the Parlor. At one point we heard a strange noise come from the Dining Room, but upon investigation, found nothing there. We were then joined by Mary, and moved to the room that once was home to Dr. Tremonti's Doctor Office. There were illegal abortions performed in this room, so our hopes were high for activity in this room. After an hour long vigil, nothing occured, so we moved upstairs to the bedrooms. At one point we were interrupted by the Raytown Police Department, as a neighbor had noticed lights on in the house and thought someone was breaking into the home! The Police were very understanding and we finished our investigation.

Evidence Review
We began our review by viewing the video. We discovered nothing unusual, except for a voice in Mrs. Tremonti's bedroom. We found the same voice, only much louder and clearer on the DVR. You can hear a man take a very deep breath and then speak right into the DVR. It is in a language that we cannot understand, but it is the strongest EVP that we have captured to date. Also on the DVR, you can hear someone whispering over our questions for about thirty seconds. In one place you can hear very clearly the words, "Go away". We also recorded this voice in the Child's Bedroom, although it was much less distinct. These were the only pieces of evidence that we recorded that night.

Conclusion
During our investigation of the Rice-Tremonti House, we did not have any personal experiences. But we did record a very strong EVP, one that lasts for thirty seconds or so, and it is very clear. For this reason, we are leaving the question of whether or not the home is haunted. We are hoping to do a follow up investigation soon. Our thanks to Leigh Elmore at the Raytown Historical Society for allowing us to investigate this wonderful old home.
