Walk Thru
| |
During the initial walk thru we had flat EMF readings throughout the Theatre. Temperature ws also very consistent. We did notice that many of the windows were very drafty, and that the floors were creaky.

Investigation
| |
Tim and Angelia began their vigil in the upstairs dressing room. They experienced a loss of battery life, from 140 minutes to 70 minutes. Angelia also reported the feeling of being watched. At the same time in the auditorium, Lee, Mary, and Piper had several experiences. Noises were heard coming from the left corner seats, where there has been reports of an apparition appearing. They also reported a large cold spot. They searched for possible sources, but were not able to find anything. Later, Christine and Piper were in the upstairs dressing room, and when coming down the stairs, both observed a shadow move. Lee and Mary were in the Women's dressing room, when Lee observed a shadow blocking out a light. Upon further investigation, they discovered that Tim had been on the stage and it was his shadow that had caused the phenomena. Tim, Angelia, and Piper were in the Green Room doing an EVP session. Tim reported unusual EMF readings at this time. This concluded the investigation.

Evidence Review
We began our evidence review with the video. We discovered nothing unusual. When we reviewed the digital photos, we did find the image of a shadowy mist at the right rear area of the auditorium (see photo at left). We then listened to the Digital audio. There were no EVP's found.

Conclusion
| |
Although we had a few personal experiences, we did not find enough evidence to declare the Atchison theatre haunted. We would like to thank Travis for allowing us to investigate the Theatre.
